I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I consider myself a rough-around-the-edges, washed-up footballer and a devoted Boca Juniors fan. I’m always the first to light the fire for an asado and a self-taught musician. Despite all that, I graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a degree in Image and Sound Design, and later specialized at the Training Center of the Cinematographic Industry Workers’ Union. I’m also an active member of the Argentine Association of Cinematographic Photography Authors (ADF).

As a Director of Photography, I’ve shot over two hundred music videos for renowned artists. I love blending photography with rhythm. I also work in the commercial and fashion film industries, collaborating with major national and international brands.

When it comes to passion, cinema stole my heart from a very young age. It was magical to discover so early on that I could explore new worlds and beautiful stories through a giant screen. Cinema is also my memory—frames from my childhood in a movie theater on Lavalle Street with my family, images that continue to this day, now as I sit and enjoy new stories on new screens with my own children.

To date, I’ve worked on more than thirty films, including both fiction and documentaries. I truly enjoy the entire audiovisual creation process, but what fascinates me the most is telling stories through the camera and light. Without light, there is no image. I’m passionate about emerging technologies and constantly bring that interest into my work.

Currently, I combine my work on set with teaching. I have a strong calling to educate and a firm belief that knowledge—in this field as in any other—is built collectively. It’s my way of honoring my own teachers and contributing my experience to help shape the future
